WDSF Publishes Official Programme for the 2026 Global Forum
The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has officially published the schedule and programme for the upcoming 2026 WDSF Global Forum, providing National Member Bodies, delegates, and officials with a comprehensive overview of the key strategic discussions that will drive the development of global DanceSport.

Scheduled to take place on Saturday 13 June 2026, the Forum will run from 09:00 to 16:40 at the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel and will be hosted within the Great Hall of the Caesars during WDSF´s Annual General Meeting weekend, bringing together international stakeholders to engage with the modern challenges and opportunities facing our community.
The newly released programme outlines an intensive institutional timeline divided into two focal sessions. The morning proceedings will concentrate on Governance, Integrity and Institutional Development, featuring vital administrative updates, safeguarding frameworks, and innovations in AI-based judging assessment. Discussions will also cover international disciplines development and the strategic growth of the 2026 WDSF DanceSport Festival in Blackpool.
Following the midday recess, the afternoon session shifts towards Communications, Partnerships and Future Development. Key highlights include updates on global media relations, the milestone Esports collaboration agreement with STEPIN, and strategic updates regarding the 2026 Youth Olympic Games alongside Breaking development. The day will conclude with an interactive Delegates’ Dialogue Forum prior to the President's closing remarks.
Shawn Tay, WDSF President, emphasised the significance of the event:
