WDSF Presidium Approves Early Application of the 50% Foreign Nationality Quota for Formation Teams

Following the decision made at the 2026 WDSF Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Rome to increase the proportion of foreign nationals permitted in a formation team to 50% with the rule originally scheduled to take effect on 1 January 2027, the WDSF Presidium has approved the application of the amended quota as of 15 December 2026.

The amended quota will therefore apply to all relevant WDSF Formation competitions taking place on or after 15 December 2026, including the upcoming WDSF World Championship Formation Latin in Bremen, Germany.

National Member Bodies (NMBs) and participating teams are advised that the relevant amended provision will be fully applicable to all competing teams from this date forward.
