Kurume 2025: Register Now for the WDSF World Breaking Championship!
The countdown is on for the WDSF World Breaking Championship, set to take over Kurume, Japan, from 12 to 13 December 2025. Following the global spotlight of Olympic Games in Paris 2024 and Chengdu at The World Games, this championship promises to bring together the world’s finest B-Boys and B-Girls in an explosion of skill, creativity, and energy.
Registrations for the event are open and will remain so until 30 November 2025.

Athletes from all nations and disciplines are encouraged to register, ensuring their chance to compete for one of the most prestigious titles in DanceSport. National Member Bodies (NMBs) should submit entries directly, while athletes from countries without an NMB can also register via [email protected]. Performances at Kurume 2025 will contribute to the official WDSF World Rankings, adding extra prestige to this already monumental event.

For fans around the world, the WDSF World Breaking Championship will be available via livestream, bringing every battle directly to your screens. The Top 16 battles will be streamed live on the WDSF Breaking for Gold YouTube channel, while the Top 8 battles will be available exclusively on the Olympic Channel, reaching a global audience with the highest level of production.
Inside Japan, a dedicated broadcasting plan will be announced soon, ensuring fans at home can experience every moment of the championship in real time.
This new livestream setup represents a significant step forward in efficiency and accessibility, allowing the global Breaking community to follow the event wherever they are.
Official Hotel Announcement
To make the championship experience seamless for international attendees, an official hotel has been designated for participants and fans alike, offering convenient access to the Kurume General Sports Centre and the city’s cultural highlights. Hotel details to be announced soon.
