The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) is proud to officially unveil the 2026 WDSF World Breaking Championships Youth and 3vs3, a spectacular double-title event officially granted to the Chinese DanceSport Federation (CDSF). Scheduled to take place from 12 to 13 September 2026, this major championship will bring the global spotlight back to the vibrant sports hub of Chengdu, People's Republic of China.
This announcement marks an exciting return for the international Breaking community. Following the sport's massive success in the very same arena during The World Games 2025, the iconic Chengbei Gymnasium in the Jinniu District will once again open its doors for DanceSport. The state-of-the-art multi-purpose venue is set to be transformed into a world-class arena, boasting a high-energy atmosphere tailored to welcome over 1,000 passionate fans and the world's finest breakers.
This landmark event follows the footsteps of the highly successful previous edition held in Matosinhos, Porto (Portugal), where the global Breaking community witnessed an unforgettable celebration of elite youth talent and incredible synergy. Building upon the momentum and high standards set on the Portuguese stage, Chengdu is now primed to elevate the double-title format to even greater heights.
A Thrilling Pipeline for the New Generation
The 2026 edition positions the Youth categories at the absolute forefront of an extraordinary competitive calendar. For the world’s emerging B-Boys and B-Girls, this championship serves as the ultimate proving ground in what promises to be a career-defining year, ahead of their highly anticipated appearance on the global stage at the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026 in November.
In parallel, the 3vs3 format brings the raw, collective essence of urban culture directly to the championship floor.
