Registrations Now Open for the 2026 WDSF DanceSport Festival in Blackpool, United Kingdom

The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the 2026 WDSF DanceSport Festival, which will take place from 25 to 29 March 2026 at the historic Winter Gardens in Blackpool, United Kingdom. The event will officially open with the Standard and Latin Adjudicators Congress on 25 March, marking the launch of a four-day competition programme — one day longer than last year — that will run through to 29 March.

This four-day celebration of DanceSport will once again bring together athletes from around the world to compete across a wide range of events, including WDSF Open Standard and Latin competitions, WDSF GrandSlam event, WDSF World Challenge Cup Rising Stars, WDSF World Championship and WDSF Professional Super Grand Prix competitions, among many more.

This year’s edition brings even more to the floor, with an expanded competition programme featuring female solo events, Juvenile and Junior categories, and the WDSF DanceSport Festival Championship in Latin and Standard for Junior II, Youth, and Under-21 participant. One of the exciting new features of this edition is that the GrandSlam events will unfold over two full days, giving dancers and audiences more time to enjoy the very best of DanceSport.

Early registration is highly recommended to secure your place at one of the most prestigious stages in the sport. The 2026 WDSF DanceSport Festival in Blackpool promises not only outstanding performances but also the unique atmosphere and legacy that make this venue a true symbol of dance history.
