DanceSport Takes the Stage: WDSF and ITA Host Exclusive 2026 Anti-Doping Summit
For the first time this year, the World DanceSport Federation is bringing its global community together for a dedicated, single-sport educational session led by experts from the International Testing Agency. Moving away from multi-sport panels, this flagship webinar is built entirely around the specific needs, daily routines, and regulatory realities of DanceSport.
Whether you are stepping onto the floor as a competitor, standing behind the scenes as a coach, or managing athlete health as part of a medical team, this session serves as the definitive reference point for clean competition in 2026.

WHY ATTENDANCE IS ESSENTIAL
Anti-doping compliance is a collective responsibility across every discipline within WDSF. To ensure our community remains fully aligned with global standards, attendance will be recorded for all participants.
Rather than focusing on a single isolated topic, this session brings together the core pillars of clean sport into one focused hour:
Rights and Obligations: Clarifying where responsibilities lie for both dancers and entourage members under the current World Anti-Doping Code.
Substances, TUEs, and Supplements: Clear guidance on navigating the Prohibited List, securing Therapeutic Use Exemptions for necessary medical treatments, and evaluating the hidden risks of dietary supplements.
Testing and Tracking: A step-by-step walkthrough of urine and blood collection, the Athlete Biological Passport (ABP), and practical management of Whereabouts via ADAMS for those in the Registered Testing Pool.
Violations and Impact: Looking beyond sanctions to understand the broader physical, mental, and professional consequences of Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRVs).
Protecting the Sport: How to safely raise concerns and report suspicious activity to safeguard fair play.
SESSION SETUP AND ATTENDEE RESOURCES
Format: Presentation followed by a live Q&A segment where participants can submit questions directly to ITA specialists.
Language Support: Delivered in English, with automated translated captions available to support international audience.
Post-Event Materials: Every registered participant will receive a complete PDF copy of the webinar presentation, including direct links to key regulatory databases, resource guides, and documentation.
WDSF calls upon all National Member Bodies, team leaders, trainers, and athletes to set aside this hour and make this appointment a priority.
