In Memoriam: Giuseppe Longarini
The World DanceSport Federation learned with sadness of the passing of Giuseppe Longarini, a respected WDSF adjudicator, accomplished athlete, coach, and cherished member of the global DanceSport community.
Originally from Italy and representing the Polish DanceSport Federation (PZST), Giuseppe devoted his life to DanceSport, achieving excellence both on and off the competition floor. Alongside his dance partner Katarzyna Kapral, he proudly represented Poland at the highest international level. Transitioning to the WDSF Professional Division, Giuseppe continued his remarkable career with outstanding achievements, and following his competitive career, he dedicated himself to mentoring the next generation as a coach and official. He became a licensed WDSF adjudicator in 2022, bringing his deep knowledge, expertise, and passion to national and international panels across the globe.
The World DanceSport Federation extends its sincere condolences to his family, friends, DanceSport partners, and both the Polish and international DanceSport communities during this sorrowful time. His legacy of passion, dedication, and sportsmanship will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
May he rest in peace.
