The countdown has officially begun. Next month, the global DanceSport community will turn its eyes to the People’s Republic of China. From 17 to 19 July 2026, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), in close collaboration with the Chinese DanceSport Federation (CDSF) and Nanjing Waychamp Culture and Sports Development Co., Ltd., presents a monumental weekend of DanceSport that will position Nanjing as the absolute epicentre of international sport.
Nanjing will not only welcome one of the most awaited events on this year's calendar, the 2026 WDSF World Championship Adult Standard, but has also been locked in as the official host city for the legendary annual WDSF GrandSlam Series from 2026 all the way through to 2028. Presented in partnership with BDDANCE x UDANCE, the official WDSF GrandSlam partner, this multi-year legacy guarantees that the city will remain a premier global hub for elite dance for years to come.
Three Days of Elite, Non-Stop Competition
The world's finest couples are putting the final touches on their preparation for an intensive, back-to-back schedule designed to push athleticism and artistry to the limit:
