Istanbul Prepares to Host the 2026 WDSF World Championships Stage Dance

Istanbul is set to become the global epicenter of stage dance this autumn as it welcomes the 2026 WDSF World Championships Stage Dance. Running from November 11 to 15, 2026, the five-day gathering will bring together top-tier performers, teams, and solos from around the world to compete for world titles in modern and contemporary dance, jazz dance, and show dance stage disciplines.

Organised by the Bodrum Dance Club and the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), the event will transform the Turkish metropolis into a vibrant hub of movement, creativity, and technical mastery.

A Unified Venue Experience at The Green Park Pendik

The entire championship will unfold under one roof at The Green Park Pendik Hotel & Convention Center, located in the Pendik district of Istanbul. Serving simultaneously as the official event hotel and the primary competition venue, the setup eliminates the need for daily logistics or commuting between lodging and competition halls.

Spanning five action-packed days, the competition roster features an extensive lineup of World Championship categories and Opens from juveniles and juniors to youth, adults, and team categories:

Wednesday, November 11: Kicks off with initial world title showdowns in Modern & Contemporary Small and Large Teams (Junior and Adult), solo brackets across youth and junior divisions, alongside juvenile open events in modern, jazz, and stage dance.

Thursday, November 12: Shifts focus to adult and youth solo and duo titles in Modern & Contemporary, Jazz Dance, and Show Dance Stage, alongside younger age brackets and juvenile team opens.

Friday, November 13: Continues the momentum with additional junior and youth championship brackets, solo and duo categories, and specialized juvenile team showcases.

Saturday, November 14: Features high-stakes small team championships in jazz and show dance, alongside junior and adult stage solo battles.
