The atmosphere is starting to build up in Salaspils as the couples are arriving and checking in to the hotel. Meanwhile, there is something interesting happening on the other side of the world, at SportAccord 2019, which is running in Gold Coast, Australia. SportAccord is a 6-day annual gathering bringing together representatives from more than 100 international sports federations and organisations.
WDSF is there, too, and we have been happy to receive reports from the Chair of the WDSF Athletes Commission, Ashli Williamson, who has been sharing information about DanceSport, participating the meetings, and mingling and making some of the most interesting new friends.
