Frequently Asked Questions
Automatic Certificates of Attendance and Contribution
Q1: What is the new automatic certificate system for WDSF Congresses?
A: The WDSF Academy has introduced an automatic certificate generation system for all Congress attendees. Once an official’s attendance is confirmed, a Certificate of Attendance is automatically available for download in their personal WDSF
profile.
Q2: What information does the certificate include?
A: The certificate contains the Congress title, date, topics covered, total attendance time, and the signature of the Chair of the WDSF Academy. Each certificate includes a unique verification code for authenticity.
Q3: Can I obtain certificates for past Congresses I attended?
A: Yes. The system has been implemented retroactively, so certificates are available for all previous Congresses recorded in the WDSF database.
Q4: Is there also a certificate for lecturers?
A: Yes. Lecturers can download a Certificate of Contribution, which lists the topics they presented and the total time of their lecture.
Q5: When does the certificate become available?
A: The certificate is automatically generated once your attendance has been marked in the system – typically on the same day the Congress concludes.
Q6: What can I use this certificate for?
A: These certificates serve as official proof of your participation in WDSF educational activities and can be presented to other organisations or institutions as evidence of DanceSport-related education.
Q7: Do I need to request it manually or contact the Academy?
A: No request is needed. The process is fully automated, and your certificate will appear in your profile once attendance has been registered.
