B-Boy Bumblebee, RUS © Little Shao That Russia would send strong contenders to Essen, GER, was clear from the moment that the BREAKING for GOLD judges selected five b-boys and five b-girls on the basis of the videos that they had submitted for Stage One. In fact, no other country had more videos uploaded than Russia.

Today, the Russian contingent merely confirmed that they are on top of their game. They fielded the two winners and made sure that 5 (3 b-boys) 2 b-girls - get to travel to Tokyo for YOG Qualifying at the World Youth Breaking Championship.
