Sunni Doubles Up 03/09/2018

B-Boy Sunni After winning the International 1 vs 1 Breaking competition at the FIBA 3x3 Lausanne Masters, B-Boy Sunni of the Soul Mavericks Crew joined the World Tour in an attempt to start his own streak.

With his second consecutive victory at the Debrecen Masters in Hungary he managed to do just that. While still short of the record established by the legendary Novi Sad Al Wahda 3x3 team, SRB, he could be on track to close in on the four wins the Serbs have accrued this year alone (the teams total streak stands at an unassailable 22 stops won).

For that to happen, however, the collaboration between FIBA and WDSF would need to be extended into next year. The four stops where breaking was featured as part of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour confirmed: "HOOPS and BATTLES go well together!"

"Youngsters to experience a mix of traditional and modern in Buenos Aires!" reads the title of an article about the four new sports at the Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games.
