2024 WDSF World Championship Standard Under 21 The bustling city of Wuhan (CHN) played host to the prestigious 2024 WDSF World Championship Standard Under 21, showcasing the remarkable talent and passion of young dancers from around the globe. With 51 couples representing a total of 19 different nationalities, the competition showcased an exhilarating display of skill and artistry.

From the moment the first notes of music filled the air, the audience knew they were in for a treat as each couple brought their unique style to the dancefloor, captivating spectators with their precision and grace. The energy in the venue was electric as the young dancers poured their hearts into their performances, vying for top honours in this prestigious championship, intensifying as the competition progressed towards crowning the World Champion.

In the end, it was Butnaru Luca Teodor and Bidica Julia Denisa from Romania who emerged victorious, delivering a flawless performance that captured the hearts of both the judges and the audience. Their impeccable technique and chemistry on the dancefloor set them apart from the competition, earning them the top spot on the podium. Notably, Luca Teodor and Bidica Julia Denisa had recently clinched the European Championship Standard Under 21 title in Cambrils (ESP) at the end of March, further solidifying their status as a promising couple for the future.

Butnaru and Bidica were closely followed by their compatriots, Clit Serban Constantin and Aurora Gioncada, who secured the silver medals with their captivating routine. Maxim Zhilenkov and Alua Kargabaeva from Kazakhstan rounded out the podium, showcasing their talent and skill with a performance that left a lasting impression.
