WDSF Partners with Vívaro Media for Production of the 2026 WDSF DanceSport Festival in Blackpool

The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) is pleased to announce its partnership with Vívaro Media as the official production and livestream partner for the upcoming 2026 WDSF DanceSport Festival in Blackpool.

Vívaro Media is internationally recognised for its excellence in high-end sports broadcasting and live event production, having delivered services for major global events such as the Olympic Games, the FIFA World Cup, and the UEFA Champions League, as well as working with leading broadcasters including ESPN, NBC and Warner Bros. Their involvement will ensure world-class audiovisual coverage of one of the most prestigious events on the global DanceSport calendar.

Taking place from 25 to 29 March 2026, the festival will once again be held at Blackpool’s historic Winter Gardens, with competitions running simultaneously in both the Empress Ballroom and the Spanish Hall, two iconic venues synonymous with excellence and tradition in DanceSport.

World-Class Production and Global Access

With extensive experience in international sports and live event broadcasting, Vívaro Media will oversee the full production of the festival, providing high-quality livestreaming, professional multicamera coverage, and immersive storytelling that captures the excitement and elegance of DanceSport at the highest level.

Through this partnership, fans from around the globe will be able to follow the action across all days of competition, bringing the unique atmosphere of Blackpool directly to audiences worldwide.

An Expanded and Diverse Competition Programme

The 2026 edition will feature an expanded competition programme, further strengthening the festival’s position as one of the most comprehensive events on the WDSF calendar. New additions include the introduction of Female Solo events, as well as expanded participation through Juvenile and Junior categories.

The programme will also include the WDSF DanceSport Festival Championships in Latin and Standard for Junior II, Youth, and Under-21 athletes. A full overview of the competition schedule will be available, featuring GrandSlams, World Challenge Cups, Super Grand Prix events, and a wide range of WDSF Open competitions.

The livestream will include coverage of all competitions held during the festival, offering viewers an in-depth and engaging experience across multiple disciplines and categories. Further details will be announced closer to the event.
