At the same time, Brisbane once again steps into the spotlight as a global Breaking destination, aspiring to leave a lasting legacy and reinforce the city’s connection with the discipline, at a moment when the potential return of Breaking to Brisbane as part of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games continues to shape the future vision of the sport.

Event Overview

Hosted at the iconic Brisbane City Hall, the Brisbane World Breaking DanceSport Festival will bring together top international B-Boys, B-Girls and Teams for two days of high-level competition in one of Australia’s most emblematic venues.

The event will feature Adult 1vs1, Youth 1vs1, and Mixed Team 3vs3 categories, awarding valuable WDSF World Ranking points and providing a global stage for both established stars and emerging talents.

Simplified Competition Schedule

Day 1 – Adult 1vs1 & Team 3vs3

  • Morning & early afternoon:
    • Pre-Selections (Adult B-Boys, B-Girls & Team 3vs3)
  • Afternoon:
    • Top16 & Top8 rounds (Adult B-Boys & B-Girls)
    • Top8 Team 3vs3
  • Evening session:
    • Opening Ceremony
    • Top4 rounds (Adult & Team)
    • Battle for Bronze & Finals
    • Victory Ceremony

Day 2 – Youth 1vs1

  • Morning:
    • Youth Pre-Selections
  • Afternoon:
    • Top32 & Top16 rounds (Youth B-Boys & B-Girls)
  • Evening session:
    • Opening Ceremony
    • Top8 & Top4 rounds
    • Battle for Bronze & Finals
    • Victory Ceremony

Fans around the world can follow the event live via the official WDSF livestream at starting at 11:00 AM AEST on both days. For international audiences, the livestream start times are:
