Legendary Lineup: Olympic Stars and World Champions Head to Paris

The stage in Paris is set not just for fierce competition, but for legendary showdowns. In the Breaking arena, all eyes will be fixed on reigning world champion, Japan's phenomenal B-Boy Shigekix, who faces a dramatic challenge from China's rising star and reigning Youth world champion, B-Boy Holy Rain. Having claimed the youth crown last September in Chengdu, Holy Rain steps up to the adult division for the very first time to hunt for the World Champion title.

The excitement intensifies with the monumental return of South Korean icon and fan favorite B-Boy Hongten to WDSF competition. Following his electrifying comeback to the WDSF cypher at the Asian Games in Nagoya earlier this month, HongTen brings decades of unmatched mastery back to the French capital. Alongside him, a big contingent of athletes who dazzled at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are reuniting in Paris at a historic, high-stakes turning point, as the community gathers while decisions loom on whether Breaking will be back on the Olympic programme for Brisbane 2032.

The elite energy extends powerfully into the Hip-Hop Freestyle divisions as well. World-class contenders such as Spain's dynamic European Champion Nerea Go Suarez Fernández and elite international talents like Colombiano Zinid, competing for the first time with WDSF, are registered and ready to throw down on the Paris stage, promising a masterclass in musicality, raw groove, and freestyle innovation.
