B‑Girl Royal’s achievements over the past year have been nothing short of historic. She claimed gold at The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China, dominating the female Breaking Adult competition on home soil. Her performance was a masterclass in precision, creativity, and emotional expression, marking a defining milestone in her career. Following this triumph, Royal continued her winning streak, securing gold at the WDSF World Championships in Breaking Adult category, in Fukuoka Kurume City, Japan, last December, and gold in the Youth category at the WDSF World Championships in Porto, Portugal, earlier in August. Her consistent excellence has earned her the number one spot in the WDSF World Ranking for Female Breaking in both Adult and Youth, a testament to her talent, dedication, and relentless pursuit of mastery.

Royal’s recognition goes beyond medals and rankings. In an exclusive feature, the The World Games sat down with Royal to discuss her journey from a young athlete learning to cope with defeat to a World Champion. She shared insights into her approach to competition, emphasizing the importance of self-improvement, embracing the music, and enjoying every moment on stage. Royal also highlighted the deeper values of Breaking culture, respect, peace, love, unity, and fun, which she seeks to embody and inspire in others.

Shawn Tay, President of the WDSF, commented on Royal’s recognition, highlighting her exceptional promise and attitude:

“At such a young age, Royal has already shown extraordinary talent, focus, and determination. Her dedication to improving every day and her ability to inspire through her performances make her a shining example for young B-Boys and B-Girls around the world.”
