Ángel Patiño (Kadoer)

Ángel Patiño, internationally known as Kadoer, is a highly respected breaking professional, judge, and cultural ambassador with more than 25 years of experience at the highest level of the discipline. He represents the crews Addictos, Fallen Angelz, and Legacy, and has been active in the international breaking scene since 1997.

As a competitor, Kadoer has participated in some of the most prestigious events worldwide. He has represented Spain nine times at Battle of the Year, after winning the national qualifiers with his crews. His competitive career includes appearances and podium finishes at events such as Freestyle Session Europe, Freestyle Session World Finals (Los Angeles), R16 (Seoul), UK Championship (London), Total Session (Grenoble), Royal Clash (France), World Bboy Championship (London), French Bboy World Cup (Paris), World Bboy Challenge (Germany), Soul on Top (Switzerland), Floor Wars (Denmark), and World of Dance Europe (Antwerp), among many others across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

He is also recognized as a movement innovator, having created original techniques—such as the elbow hops—that are now used worldwide within the breaking community.

Judging Experience & WDSF Involvement

In recent years, Kadoer has built an extensive and solid career as an international judge, with a strong focus on WDSF-sanctioned events. He has judged dozens of WDSF competitions worldwide, including:

• All WDSF Continental Games

• WDSF World Championships

• Olympic Qualifier Series (OQS)

• Numerous international WDSF Opens and Series events

He has also served on multiple occasions as Head Judge, demonstrating leadership, deep rule knowledge, consistency, and the ability to manage judging panels at the highest competitive level.

Kadoer is widely respected for his fairness, clarity, and cultural awareness, as well as for his thorough understanding of both the technical judging system and the foundations of breaking culture. His judging approach balances objectivity, structure, and respect for the athletes’ effort and artistic expression.

Ángel Patiño (Kadoer) – Hip Hop Judge

Ángel Patiño, internationally known as Kadoer, is an international Hip Hop judge, choreographer and educator with over 25 years of experience in urban dance disciplines. Active since 1997, his background combines competitive experience, artistic development, pedagogy, and high-level judging.

Specialized in Hip Hop, Breaking, Locking and Popping, Kadoer has performed in theatres worldwide as part of the prestigious company Brodas Bros, contributing to the professionalization and international visibility of urban dance.

He is the founder and director of Street Dance Area (est. 2008), one of the first schools in Spain fully dedicated to urban dance disciplines, and a long-standing reference point for training dancers, competitors, and judges at national and international level.

As a choreographer and dancer, Kadoer is a member of Street Squad, a company that has achieved numerous international victories since 2012. Highlights include World of Dance Europe (Belgium, 2016), representing Europe at the World Finals in Los Angeles.

Judging Experience – Hip Hop

Kadoer has extensive experience as a Hip Hop judge at both national and international level, covering choreography and freestyle battle formats. His judging background includes:

• National Hip Hop Championships

• World Hip Hop Championships

• Freestyle Hip Hop Battles

• Urban dance competitions across Europe and internationally

• Judging roles in events such as HHI Spain, BAUM Festival, Hipnotik Festival, among others

• Judge for Street Dance categories at National Championships of FRDS (Romania)

His judging approach is based on a deep understanding of foundations, musicality, technique, freestyle vocabulary, performance quality and competitive criteria, ensuring fair and structured evaluation in both choreographic and freestyle contexts.

Judge Education & Development

In addition to his judging activity, Kadoer is an experienced judge educator. He has delivered national and international judge courses in both Breaking and Hip Hop, contributing to the development of judging standards, critical thinking, and consistency across different countries and competitive systems.

His pedagogical work focuses on:
