Not to be taken too literally, "blind" judges - as they are called in Danish - are those adjudicators who have passed their exams and who then gain experience by calling them as they see them. But without their marks being taken into consideration for the official results. Even multiple World Champions like Bjorn Bitch and Ashli Willamson have to start that way in Denmark.
This is one of the STORIES we were able to produce today at the Copenhagen Open, ahead of tomorrow's championship.
Bjorn and Ashli recall with pride that last year's European in Olomouc, CZE, was in fact the last championship they danced prior to turning professionals. They finished fifth!
