Sometimes it is not until the last moment - on the actual day of the competition - that even an unofficial starting list can be made public for the simple reason that couples are entering very late. Virtulally all the way up to this last moment! Let's hope that this applies to tomorrow's GrandSlam Standard danced here at the Rimini Fair too.
Because if we go on the list of Star Couples GrandSlam Standard,
we would have to deplore the absence of Evaldas Sodeika and Ieva Zukauskaite, LTU, the #2 in the GrandSlam and World Rankings, as well as that of Vaidotas Lacitis and Veronika Golodneva, LTU, who would miss their second consecutive GrandSlam leg. If these two star couples do want to dance tomorrow, they will have to do so from the very first round.
