WDSF and the Special Olympics reach an agreement

On 20/03/2019 in Abu Dhabi, during Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019, a solemn signing of the proclamation of cooperation between World DanceSport Federation and The Special Olympics was held. The agreement was signed by Antoni Czyzyk, WDSF Vice-President for Development and Mary Davies, CEO Special Olympics International.

On the same day, during the Special Olympics DanceSport Demonstrations, Timothy Shriver, Chairman of the Board of Special Olympics announced solemnly from the stage that DanceSport was recognized as the official sport discipline within Special Olympics.
