Elections to the WDSF Ethics Committee – Call for Candidacies

The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) hereby informs all National Member Bodies that elections concerning the WDSF Ethics Committee will take place during the WDSF Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026, scheduled for 14 June 2026 in Rome, Italy.

In order to regularise the composition of the Ethics Committee, the following elections are hereby convened:

Election of one Substitute Member of the WDSF Ethics Committee, for the remainder of the current term ending at the 2027 WDSF AGM;
Election of the Chairperson of the WDSF Ethics Committee, for the remainder of the same term, in the event that the interim Chairperson is not confirmed by the General Meeting.

In accordance with the Code of the WDSF Ethics Committee, the General Meeting shall first vote on the confirmation of the interim Chairperson. Only if such confirmation is not approved shall an election for the position of Chairperson be held.

Submission Deadline and Procedure

The deadline for submission of candidacies is 4 May 2026, at 24:00 CEST. Please note that candidacies received after this deadline cannot be considered eligible.

All candidacies must be submitted to the WDSF General Secretary via the following email addresses:

Curriculum vitae;
Proof of relevant qualifications;
Motivation letter.

Candidates are invited to use the official Candidacy Form, created to facilitate and standardise the submission process. For detailed information, candidates are kindly requested to refer to the document “General Eligibility Criteria and Candidacy Procedure for Candidates”.

All candidates will be evaluated by the WDSF Nominations Commission to ensure compliance with the applicable eligibility criteria.

Publication of Valid Candidacies

The final list of valid candidates will be published no later than Sunday, 17 May 2026, at 24:00 CEST
