The busy Saturday gets even more busy, as the first tunes for the first round of the GrandSlam Standard will be played at Gymnastics Palace of Irina Viner-Usmanova at 08:00 in the morning (local time). The following rounds will take place on Sunday, starting at 11:30 local time.
226 couples have registered, including the undefeated Lithuanians Evaldas Sodeika – Ieva Zukauskaite, who have been getting straight row of number one positions this year in all their competitions. In GrandSlams, all of the top six positions have remained unchanged, although in Stuttgart we witnessed an exciting duel between the two Russian couples Evgeny Moshenin – Dana Spitsyna and Alexey Glukhov – Anastasia Glazunova, and the winners of the third place remained unclear until the final results were announced.
In Moscow, all of the couples representing Russian Federation will have the advantage of the loud support of the crowd behind them. But we shouldn’t forget how the support helps all of the couples on the floor. The better the atmosphere, the better the performances!
It will be another spectacular event! The 2019 WDSF GrandSlam Standard Moscow will be broadcasted live on DanceSportTotal, starting from the quarterfinal. We will inform of the exact schedule later.
