2011 European Standard | Ahead of the Home Game 27/04/2012

2012 European Standard Simone Segatori - Annette Sudol, GER, play a home game this weekend. Their club Redoute Koblenz is organising the 2012 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Standard. The ambitions are high and the two are well prepared ...

Last Year In Poland ... 27/04/2012

Many things have happened since the 2011 European Standard title was contested in Kalisz, POL. on 14 May. Most of it you have been able to follow through the WDSF "Live from ..." blogs, through photos, videos and - whenever possible - the rapidly published results.

Live from Koblenz WDSF Communications will also be on location in Koblenz, albeit with a much smaller team than usual. Other commitments by some of our members have reduced the deployment of forces to the "single fighter" ... Prof Helmut Roland will be alone at the Oberwerth Sports Hall ... with his still and video cameras - and hopefully with a fast access to the Internet. Editing and publishing will be done from 1,000 km away ...

In any case, we endeavour to bring you the 2012 European Standard with the depth and the turnaround you can reasonably expect from two people working on it. But thanks for your understanding already if it should be a little less and slower than usual!

Here are two of Helmut's photographs taken at last year's Europen Standard, they should tune you in for tomorrow, when even more things could happen ...
