The organisers of the 2016 European Standard went to considerable length in promoting the championship to the residents of Wroclaw. In the pedestrian area of the old town they set up billboards with extensive information on all aspects of DanceSport. Imagery from The World Games 2017 Cali, explanatory texts and descriptions of each of the five Standard dances should provide the knowledge base for the hopefully numerous spectators who will be flocking to the Centennial Hall tomorrow to acquire a first taste.
The more comprehensive view of dance as sport is offered on 21 and 22 July 2017, when The World Games feature top-level competition in Latin, Salsa and Rock 'n' Roll in addition to Standard dances.
