12 Million | The Powers of Dance

The World DanceSport Federation is proud to announce that its YouTube channel DanceSport Total has passed another historic mark today: that of “12 million videos viewed.”

Who would have guessed when we first embarked on this venture offering the world videos of dance as sport that these would find such broad acceptance?

Ban Ki-monn & Psy © UN WDSF thanks the followers here and everywhere for tuning in by the thousands every day. As traffic to our website and the YouTube channel is continuing to increase, who knows where we will end up eventually. Catching up with the legendary “Gangnam Style” video? It has accrued some 500 million views so far.

Not at all surprising:  dance is the driving force behind it too.

“The powers of dance can even unite nations,” UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon told the press after a private dance lesson with “Gangnam Style’s” creator Psy.
