Istvan Varga - Gabriela Pilic, CROHow did you get in contact with DanceSport?

Thanks to my dear mother I started dancing very early, with 5 years. Competitive dancing I started at the age of 10.

What are the fascinations that keep you in DanceSport? 

Dancing is my life and for me stoping is not an option. 

What is your aim in DanceSport? 

To be a finalist of the World Ten Dance Championship in the near future.

Is there something in DanceSport today that worries you? 

It seems that something like in boxing is hapening, before there were only amateur league and professional league. Now they have 42 amateur leagues – too many World Champions. I sincerely hope this is not goinng to happen in DanceSport.

Do you have time to meet friends? 

Not much but for true friends I find some time.

What would you do if you have - unexpectedly -  a day off?

Sleep! And then go to the nearby seaside, driving the old national roads.

What kind of movie could motivate you to go to the cinema?

Any genre will do.

Imagine you are on a deserted island. What are the three things you would want to have with you, you cannot imagine to live without?

Food, water and a sailboat to get off the island and back home as fast as possible.

Do you have other talents that nobody knows so far?

I am very stubborn!

 What are you most proud of?   

I never give up.

Which of your dreams would you like most to come true?  

To be remembered as a high-quality, special allround dancer. World Ten Dance Champion in 2014.


If you meet a person you don't know, what do you look at first? 
The image she or he is bringing accross.

How do you cope with stress and bad moods?  Not so well.

I am too emotional sometimes
