Trivium Value System 23/09/2017

BOTY Central Europe © BOTY After it had done so for Latin and Standard over the past ten years, the World DanceSport Federation collaborated once more with experts and software engineers to develop a judging system for top-tier competitions in Breaking.

What made this project particularly challenging was the fact that the timeline called for a roll-out only six months after the start of the development. Somehow the group contracted by WDSF to do the actual work was able to meet the deadline imposed by the first Continental Qualifier for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games taking place in Philadelphia, USA, during the Silverback Open on 6 October. Two weeks ahead of that, the "Trivium Value System" gets field-tested for the first time today at the BOTY Central Europe event in Zurich, SUI. We will report on the premiere next week.
