Cees Boutkan

The terrible news were delivered by his long-term colleague Mr. Cor van der Stroet on early Sunday morning, and were confirmed by the NADB President Mr. Jeffrey van Meerkerk later on Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Boutkan served as a member of the NADB Sports Commission, as Ambassador of NADB and as WDSF Adjudicator.

Mr. van Meerkerk writes: ”Cees was a beloved person all over the world. We are going to miss him enormously. On behalf of the presidium of the NADB, I want to wish his wife Therese, their family and all friends, colleagues and students all over the world lots of strength in dealing with this big loss.

Cees, we thank you for all you have done for the development of DanceSport in the Netherlands and for the NADB. ”
