2021 WDSF PD Master Class Koper 12/10/2021

Koper in Slovenia set the stage for 4 WDSF PD World Championships Master Classes I and II Latin and Standard and the PD World-Cup Master Class III Standard.

It was again a very special day for Heinz Josef & Aurelia Bickers from Germany winning the PD World Master Class II Standard.

And this was not their first title. They started for the 12th time in the Master Class II Standard and reached the podium in every single competition, achieving 1 bronze medal, 4 silver medals and 7 gold medals (3 as amateurs and 4 as professsionals). Congratulations !!!

It was the first time winning the Gold Medal for three new World Champions: Giuseppe Cassibba & Federica Re, from Italy, in the Master I Latin, Pietro Sorice & Porzia De Nicoló, from Italy, in the Master II Latin and Felice Spadaro & Luana Di Stefano, from Italy, in the Master I Standard.

A different situation was recorded in the World Cup Master III Standard, where Elia Bandera & Renata Rodella, from Italy, confirmed their first place winning their second title.

So  the couples, the audience and the WDSF Officials lived to see a special night in Koper, where people could witness a new light on the future of Standard and Latin American dances after the darkness of pandemic. Looking forward to the next steps!
