2023 WDSF PD WCH SD STD - Leipzig 13/10/2023



Another highlight of the 2023 International DanceSport Festival Leipzig was the WDSF Professional Division World Championship ShowDance Standard. The couples presented excellent shows to the audience and to the adjudicators. 

Matej Stec - Elena Popova from Slovakia won the title.

Alexandru Ionel - Patricija Ionel from Germany achieved runners-up position. After the prize presentation Alexandru and Patricija declared their retirement from competition dancing. The announcement of Alexandru and Patricija was very emotional and the spectators in the hall reacted  with standing ovations. 

Roeland Schelfhout - Fauve Schelfhout from Netherlands achieved 3rd place ahead of Matthias Schoof - Anja Eilers-Schoof from Germany, who were set on 4th place.
