2011 IDSF PD World Standard 26/04/2011

2011 IDSF PD World Standard

The 2011 IDSF Professional Division (PD) World Standard took place in Tallinn, EST, on 23 April. 40 couples representing 18 countries danced in the first round.

The organisers under the lead of IDSF Presidium Member Ivo Kappet put on a first class event not only for the couples and the officials but the spectators as well. The level of competition was high and the setting in the sports hall was absolutely perfect.

The Professional Division can be proud of this World Championship," commented the IDSF PD President, Daniele Tondon, after the dance of honour by the champions Paolo Bosco - Silvia Pitton, ITA.

"It showed that we are on the right track," Tondon coninued, "and we will maintain this momentum into the future.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the countries participating in Tallinn with their best couples.

"On 21 May we will have our IDSF Professional Division World DanceSport Championship Latin in Luxembourg. On that occasion I count on your support again as I am sure it will be another great success of DanceSport."
