The competition enjoyed not only excellent athletic participation but also the presence of distinguished guests. Attending were Mary Yeh, President of the Chinese Taipei DanceSport Federation (CTDSF), a Legislator representingthe Hualien County Magistrate, the Township Chief, and members of the City Council.

The event also received powerful backing from the Hualien County Government, which spearheaded city-wide promotion efforts, ensuring DanceSport resonated across the community and beyond.

A NEW APPROACH TO CEREMONY

An innovation that distinguished this year’s event was the introduction of a streamlined award ceremony format. Following each final, athletes were immediately honoured on the podium, with their national anthem played and their flag displayed on the large arena screen. This efficient approach allowed the next final to proceed seamlessly on the competition floor while celebrations unfolded concurrently.

Far from extending the schedule, the system heightened the sense of respect and ceremony for competitors, leaving both athletes and audiences deeply impressed.
