Sophie Manuela Lindner has been dancing different dance styles since 1999 and has been specializing in breaking since 2007. She has competed in many international competitions representing her crews M.O.T. Crew from Austria and Skill Sisters from Germany. One of her career highlights was the final in the 2vs2 Bgirl Battle at The Notorious IBE Festival in 2011.

Besides being a bgirl, Sophie is a dance scientist, sports physiotherapist and lecturer at the Institute for Dance and Movement Culture at the German Sport University Cologne, where she teaches breaking and hip hop to physical education students. As part of her PhD, she is researching the performance profile and training of professional breakdancers in preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games. In addition to her work at the university, she is the executive director of HE4DS - Health Education for Dancers and a board member of the nonprofit association Urban Dance Health e.V.. She creates the link between science and practice by applying dance science research findings to dance pedagogical concepts, which she shares with dancers worldwide in numerous lectures, workshops and courses.
