If on top things do not work out as planned - and as they did at all the other competitions until now - it can abruptly turn into an exercise of frustration.
As many of our followers must have noticed, we had persisting problems with the website ever since the afternoon of 15 August. For several hours at a time, worlddancesport.org was not available, i.e. could not get called up, and produced, depending on the browser, error messages of the varied kind. "Website does not exist!" ... Or it just drew a blank!
Our webmaster John Caprez together with domain administrator Jürg Briner - who is himself a dancer and, thank God, happened to be at the GOC - are working on analysing and solving the problem. For the time being, we proceed with posting the entire backlog of material from last week, knowing full well that the site could become unavailable at times.
Over the coming hours, all remaining dances of the final will go up here and on our YouTube channel DanceSport Total.
