He wears many hats and personifies DanceSport like no one else in this part of Germany. Meet Wilfried Scheible: President of the DanceSport Federation of Baden – Württemberg, President of the DanceSport Club Astoria Stuttgart and Chief Executive Officer of the German Open Championships Ltd. It was in this capacity that he addressed journalists during a recent media event.
“The city of Stuttgart is one of our most important partners,” he said, emphasising that its financial aid of nearly 100,000 € helps to offset lower income through entry fees this year. True to the typically Swabian traits of thrift and foresight, Scheible expressed his hopes that the city will include similar amounts in the future budgets too.
