93 couples have been entered by their National Member Body, oddly enough the exact number that danced in the World Latin held here three years ago. Vienna established the current benchmark in terms of participation. Neither Berlin in 2013 nor Ostrava last year were able to match the number, ending up with 87 and 83 couples respectively.
Provided all entries will show up in time for the first round, which starts tomorrow at 1 a.m., we will see the Vienna participation record being equalled by ... Vienna.
