Last night's final of the 2016 GrandSlam Standard Hong Kong will be talked about for some time to come. As suspenseful as a round can get, it produced a total of four 10s going up as component scores for the two couples that have dominated Standard over the past two years: Simone Segatori - Annettee Sudol, GER, and Dmitry Zharkov - Olga Kulikova, RUS.
The relief of Simone and Annette to finally have made it back to the highest echelon of the podium was considerable - and the grace of Dmitry and Olga in accepting the role as first runners-up was astounding.
