The TV, lighting and sound crews are working hard with the WDSF crew at Salaspils Sports Hall on Friday afternoon to create a fantastic and worthy setting for the couples of the European Championship Standard and European Cup Latin. The stands are still empty, but already on early Saturday morning the venue will be packed with family members, friends, fans, and DanceSport lovers as the event kicks off with DSE Juvenile ja DSE Junior II competitions at 08:00 local time. Different camera angles have been tested and the lighting has been checked to make sure the dance floor and the couples will look amazing both on site and on TV.
The 2019 European Championship Standard first round starts at 16:00 local time (15:00 CET) and the 2019 European Cup Latin first round right after that one, at 17:00 (16:00 CET).
