Annamária Somkuti † 20/06/2014

Annamária Somkuti The WDSF Presidium deeply regrets the loss of Mrs Annamária Somkuti, a former President of the Hungarian DanceSport Association as well as a good friend and colleague.

Annamária was a founding member of the Hungarian DanceSport Association and served as its President for eight years. Throughout her career in DanceSport she was a most accomplished dancer, trainer and adjudicator.

Her commendable service to the development of DanceSport include her appointments as a board member of the Hungarian National Sports Federation, the National Olympic Committee Non-Olympic Sports Board and the Hungarian National Olympic Committee's Women In Sports Commission.

Her lifetime contributions to DanceSport will benefit a great number of people and she will be sadly missed by all.

Our most sincere condolences go to her family and friends.
