Developments in Salsa 13/05/2014

Salsa Sport The WDSF National Member Bodies for Colombia and Mexico continue their efforts to develop the brand SalsaSport further.

A number of Salsa competitions are scheduled throughout the year in both countries - some of them coinciding with competitions in Latin and Standard, others as stand-alone.

The Colombian DanceSport Federation lists the events it organises in the 2014 Agenda.

The Mexican Federation promotes its events through the website: www.femexbaile.com!

The next event scheduled in Mexico takes place on 8 June. It is made up of national opne competitions for all age groups and in all Salsa disciplines: www.salsasportmexico.com


But it is not only the competitive side of Salsa that is getting developed. Colombia will host a symposium on "Using Dance as Therapeutical Tool" with phsychiatrists and psychologist looking at Salsa as a remedy for depressive disorders, etc. in October.
