Ljubljana Open 2013 16/04/2013

Ljubljana, SLO | 13 - 14 April © Mutin

This could easily have been an upbeat report on the two World Opens held over the past weekend in Ljubljana, SLO.

Reference could have been made to full results and a few of the excellent photographs taken by Marius Mutin could have been included to make it all look even better.

But fact is that not everything was perfect! Too many couples showed up in the Slovenian capital without their Athlete's ID Cards.

This not only put the organisers and officials in a dilemma whether to allow them participation or not, it also led to results that require an extensive follow-up before they can be made public.

And Ljubljana was certainly not alone. Missing cards also led to a much more cumbersome administration of all the processes in Mégève, FRA, and quite a few other places. Couples: since 1 April, having your Athlete's ID Card with you when you pass through check-in is A MUST! Check here!

Here are some of Marius' photographs anyway. More are in the Gallery!
