Manhattan Amateur Classic 13/01/2016

MAC WDSF Junior II Latin and Standard Open competitions will be held January 15 and 16 at the  26th Annual Manhattan Amateur Classic, the MAC.

The MAC is organised by the New York Chapter of USA Dance, the National Governing Body for DanceSport in the United States.
 
The WDSF Junior II events will feature top international dancers, who have been recognised for their expertise and excellence in major world competitions.
 
The MAC is a three-day competition featuring America’s top amateur dancers, great music and dazzling performances.  It is held annually in January over Martin Luther King National Holiday Weekend.
 
“The 2016 MAC promises to be the best competition yet, because of the high level of dancers participating and a venue that offers the best views of Manhattan,” said Daphna Locker, President of the Greater New York Chapter of USA Dance.  “Martin Luther King Weekend is a great time for some of the country’s best dancers to showcase their skills in the dance capital of the world.”
