New IDSF Logo 05/07/2008

Avatar As was announced during the 2008 General Meeting of the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF) in Moscow, Russia, our governing body’s new emblem is now available for downloading from the official website idsf.net.

The IDSF Logo can be downloaded in the section "Media" and used by member bodies and organisers of granted events from today, 3 July. The Logo is available in several different file formats:

  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
  • Generic EPS (.eps)
  • Photoshop (.psd)
  • JPG (.jpg)

The IDSF Visual Identity Guidelines (Version 1.0) provide a number of precise instructions regarding the use of the Logo. These instructions need to be respected by everyone reproducing the latter.

Some applications have also been developed by our designers. They serve as samples of how the Logo is to be incorporated into signage boards, banners, etc.

In the future, these guidelines will be expanded and incorporated into the IDSF Visual Identity Manual.

The Presidium points out that the new emblem will replace the one currently in use from the next Annual General Meeting. The Presidium thanks its member bodies and organisers for their efforts in adopting the new visual identity at this early stage already.
