Notice To WDSG 2013 Participants 03/06/2013

2013 European Latin Formation The accreditation of athletes and officials is in full swing for the inaugural edition of the WDSF World DanceSport Games held this September in Kaohsiung. At less than one month from the 30 June deadline, more than 400 participants have already provided their personal information and travel details.

However, where accreditation is definitely lagging behind is in the two Formation DanceSport events. Only two out of the altogether 12 teams that were invited to take part in Standard and Latin Formation scheduled on 16 and 17 September, respectively, are fully accredited so far.

Let this be the urgent/final notice to all ten teams concerned, one issued to challenge them to expeditiously (i.e. RIGHT NOW) comply with the schedules established for submission of the relevant information.

It has also been brought to our attention that athletes competing in Formation DanceSport are similarly behind schedule with the applications for their ID Cards. To spell it all out once more: EVERY ATHLETE competing in the WDSF competition system is required to hold a ID Card since 1 April 2013.
