Presidium in Progress 15/06/2018

Patrick Baumann and Lukas Hinder Patrick Baumann, the President of the Global Association of International Sports Federations and a member of the IOC Executive Board, took the time on early Friday morning to address the members of the WDSF Presidium.

In his speech he compared DanceSport's governing with a train under full steam and on its way up the mountain. "You will be in Buenos Aires with breaking this October," Baumann said, "and who knows where the journey will go from there."

DanceSport, he believes, has much going for it in many ways. At home and with his own family, he is able to experienc it almost every day, with his kids dancing around the house. "I don't know what they are dancing," he stated, "but I think its good."

Baumann wished the Presidium members the best of luck in their deliberations and encouraged them to keep working with the same convictions to make their sport better every day.
