TISSOT Swiss Inter Cup - Regensdorf 05/11/2008

Avatar TISSOT Swiss-Inter-Cup IDSF International Open in

Switzerland - Regensdorf Saturday, 01 November 2008

What a fantastic example for Switzerland of how an event should be ran.
The competitions were held in one of the luxurious Moevenpick hotels.
The event was a full house, all seats taken.
We had great music throughout the day and a band playing in the
evening, giving the extra special atmosphere that only the best comps
have.

The lighting was bright and clear on the dance floor giving that extra
sparkle. The amateur ballroom competition was not so difficult to
judge but that final of the latin was extremely difficult. This was
due to the very close dance level of the couples. The five highly
qualified judges had a difficult task.

The audience appreciated the high level of dance and also joined in
for some social dancing in between the rounds. This always gives a
great atmosphere that is usually missing in sports halls. The couples
were given expensive prices such as watches from the sponsors.
Everybody enjoyed this prestigious event which was shown on TV the
next day.

We are hoping very much that the Swiss Inter Cup will take place next
year again.
