The Thailand DanceSport Federation and Mr Sittichai Preyadara on behalf of the Organising Committee gave a very warm and hearty welcome to all the couples and officials from 32 countries.
It was ten years ago when the Thailand Open was established. For the past three year's, it has the great honour to be named "King's Cup" Thailand Open. His Majesty King Bhumibol - a great sportsman himself - gave his name and patronage to the competition.
Last night there was a welcome reception on the Grand Chao Praya Cruise. The organisers dressed all participants in flowery coloured shirts. The couples enjoyed this friendly atmosphere and could experience Thai dancing.
