Vienna Dance Concourse 16/03/2016

Ball at Vienna City Hall The incomparable settings at the Vienna Town Hall are once more the backdrop to the finest dancing. For the 23rd time the organisers of the Dance Concourse bring well over 300 couples from some 25 countries to the Austrian capital for a long weekend of open competitions and even championships.

The focus of the organiser has always been on the Senior age groups and this has not changed in the 2016 edition either. Of the 12 ranking competitions for Seniors I - IV it is the Senior II Standard that stands out - in terms of participation - with more than 100 entries.

The final act to the three days of DanceSport starts in the evening of Sunday 20 November: for the third consecutive year a European Showdance Championship in the Professional Division takes place as part of the Dance Concourse. Last year it was Latin, this year it is Standard!

A Communications team made up of Heidi Goetz and Martin Branc will be on site and bring you coverage from the 2016 PD European Showdance Standard and some of the other competitions.
